Getting AI to index and provide search functionality for all your recipes across two sites and subsatck? Brilliant use case! Using the tool to solve a problem - awesome!
I still don't know exactly how I'm going to use these indexes... but the possibilities are kind of huge. I'm trying to wrap my head around the specifics for how to use them to meet very specific goals. But, I was blown away by the functionality.
this was such a great conversation and I'm sorry i missed it! i was talking to the screen! love working through learnings and problems together. i'll bring a list to the next meeting! :) xo
going to start looking at analytics now. curious - when you say you're thinking about shorter videos - would that go out to all your subscribers? or just notes? just thinking...
I might do one today and add it at the top of tomorrow's newsletter. Just a short "hi, how are you?" that ties into the issues main topic. We'll see if I actually make that happen!
Hi Rebecca, thanks for organising. Re timings for me. I work from home in the UK and start early in the morning and I'm usually quite tired in the evenings. So anytime before 6 is usually good for me.
She suggested the Road Food series that I’ve just started for paid subscribers. She actually suggested it as a book… which is also a fantastic idea that I’m working through.
Is there an opportunity for those of us who are simply interested in learning about new foods, new techniques and would occasionally like to print one of your recipes which is already vetted by your research? In other words, could we purchase a recipe?
Hi Liz! Most of the recipes I publish are free. You'll find them in my newsletter (rebeccablackwell.com) and in my two recipe websites (ofbatteranddough.com and alittleandalot.com). Are you wondering if you could purchase a recipe to use in your own work?
No. I am asking as a retired interior designer who loves to cook, read about food, learn more about the evolution of cooking in today's world to offer healthier and easier options. Your zucchini bread/cake recipe sounded intriguing. I will check out your other sites! Thanks for responding!
You’ll find so many great options for healthy, easy, interesting recipes here! Here’s a wonderful list of all kinds of food writers… Scroll through and check out the ones that interest you! https://www.mastermindforfoodwriters.com/p/directory

Ok, great! So, does the September meeting time work for you? I believe 1pm EST is 6pm your time? I know you said before 6…
Yes this time. But probably won't on other days x
It was a lovely meeting. Each of us who attended is serving a different set of subscribers.
It was helpful to reach out to offer constructive support, and to recognize the little aha’s others offered.
What was Betty’s advice that turned you around?
Betty is a great contributor.

Sounds like your title - and book!

Thank you so much for all you do to support this community Rebecca!
I’m delighted to have become a member of the Food Writers Business Lab. And very grateful for the opportunity to teach a topic I love.
Thank you so much Mira for jumping in! Your support matters!
