As always, thank you to everyone who was able to attend this month’s meeting and for contributing to the conversation. This month we talked about Substack notes - how we’re using them, how to understand the stats behind them, how to schedule them, and use them to build our platform, drive subscriptions, and contribute to the conversation in meaningful ways.

For those of you who like to plan ahead, our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 14 at 11:00am EST. Register here. The main topic of this meeting will be Substack LIVE. We’ll hear from some of our members about how they are using Substack LIVES to grow their reach, connect with their readers, and provide exclusive content for paid subscribers.

The November meeting will be on Wednesday, November 11, at 11:00am EST. Register here.

Remember that the Mastermind for Food Writers chat is a great place to ask questions, get feedback, share ideas, and connect with other food writers on Substack.

The goal of Mastermind for Food Writers and The Food Writers Business Lab isn’t simply to gather more information. It’s to build a better business alongside people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Ready to build a stronger, more sustainable food-writing business?

The Food Writers Business Lab offers practical, affordable education created specifically for food writers. Every workshop is taught by an experienced food writer who understands the challenges of growing an audience, diversifying your income, and building a lasting career in this industry.

It’s education for food writers, taught by food writers.
