Recording and Notes from the August (postponed) Meeting
Replay | Meeting notes | September meeting date
Hello everyone!
Thank you to everyone who attended today’s Mastermind for Food Writers meeting. I always learn something new in these meetings and come away feeling encouraged and hopeful.
For those of you who weren’t able to attend, you’ll find the link to the recording below. Thank you to the fabulous Sarah Pilley for taking notes during today’s meeting and writing them up for us! You’ll find those below as well.
New member directory!
After today’s meeting Sarah offered to create a member directory of everyone who has attended meetings over the past few months and I thought this was a fantastic idea. Here’s where you’ll find it: Member Directory
If we’ve missed you, please leave a comment on the Member Directory along with a link to your substack publication and we’ll remedy the oversight immediately!

Very interesting conversation! I have thoughts on being present with Notes and on finding our audience. But it would turn into a loooong comment.
I’m split on AI. For writing and research, I find it doesn’t really work, it just wastes my time since I end up correcting it over and over. But for more “project management” tasks, like setting up a calendar, it can be useful. I still prefer putting together my content calendar myself, but I’ve had AI format a document for me, which saved a little time.
thank you for sharing the notes!!!
