Coffee Breaks are 30-ish minute chats over Substack LIVE with the paid members of this community. It’s a chance to learn more about them and their work and talk about some of the real challenges and opportunities as a food writer today.
Join me on Tuesday, September 22 at 6:00pm EST to talk with Maggie J!
About Maggie
Maggie describes herself as a “multi-hyphenate with chronic Shiny Object Syndrome” but I describe her as a multi-talented badass with Deeply Present Syndrome.
Maggie is a certified yoga instructor who lives in Milwaukee with her husband and children. After running a successful meal delivery service, she turned her attention back to home cooking, creating a newsletter, an in-progress cookbook, and The Gathering — a yoga and dinner series for women who need a room where nothing is being asked of them, because feeding people (and being fed) is her love language.
As Maggie says, the real good life is already yours. Join us on Tuesday, September 22 to talk about that and what it means to stop waiting for things to slow down.
The goal of Mastermind for Food Writers and The Food Writers Business Lab isn’t simply to gather more information. It’s to build a better business alongside people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.
